after a few days without the WWW.

And with really many appointments I am back to business.

And know what I immediately discovered some amazing new Blogs!

You maybe know them already, but they are brand new to me.

Why I started blogging and an apologie to the whole Blog world.

I started blogging two years ago after a bad car accident, it was a turning point in my life.
I had to learn many things to do again.
I am still recovering from the injuries!
(Don`t want any pity, just trying to explain!)
And thought a blog would help to express my thoughts on some DIY skills!
That`s the reason, didn`t want to make profit out of it.

I met here some really nice online friends and many amazing creative persons!

A friend asked me if I never thought about selling my paintings,
I never wanted to do that, because I just gave them away for fun,

I never wanted to make money with them.
But why not try?
If I sell some it would be nice, if not, doesen`t matter!

In my first blog post that I wrote,
I wanted people to be inspired by my work, and who ever wanted would feel free to share it, any DIY idea or painting or photo or something else they find here.
And many people did. And I think this is amazing!
I am fine with that!
I write this blog for fun!

So I started these online shops, to try to sell some paintings, like you can see, havent sell any jet, maybe would never sell any again!
So feel free to stay away from my blog and shops!
If anyone is willing to stay with me, I would be happy!

After a whole weekend of thinking, and a whole weekend of life threatening mails and comments,
(I think people who are parents and grownup should not write such terrible things, but hey that`s my opinion!)
I think I still must apologize to the people.

Like I sad before, I never wanted to cause any harm, never wanted to be a copy cat!
Never wanted to hurt someone`s feelings, like I apparently did.
Never had put these paintings on sale, If I had known they already exist on Etsy or somewhere else!
Never wanted to earn a cent with them!
I immediately deleted and destroyed them. wrote a mail to Etsy and explained.
I deleted any photo existed on any platform I use.
It may took about 24 hours until they were really gone.
If anyone copied them or did a screenshot of them, it maybe so!

After I removed the similar looking paintings from my platforms I searched Etsy for every horse, every dog and cat, every girl I ever painted.
And you know what I found similarities on other artists paintings too.
Because a dog is a dog a horse is a horse, animals have similarities!
I just found a exact copy of an Llama I painted ( and gave them away to an online friend),
just in smaller version.
And a French Bulldog portrait I did back in 2010 (a best friends dog), just with an different background!
But that is okay with me!
If anyone got inspired by my work, I am happy about it!

Hier ein wenig Frühling im Februar.

Ein paar Tulpen, leider nicht echt,

denn meine Beiden Kater würden diese sofort verspeisen;)

Aber Stoffblumen sind auch schön und halten sich länger.

Habe ein wenig in Dekoläden und bei Ebay gestöbert und das hier entdeckt.

Tulpen und Vase vom DEPOT,

Ein paar Gläser bei Porta

und ein Pferd bei Ebay;)

Mal sehen ob ich das Pferdchen umlackiere.

I was pointed out that some of my paintings look similar to other artists work!

I am so sorry to caused any harm, it wasn`t my intention!

I havent stole these feathers or the nest.

If I had known that these paintings already exist on Etsy I would have never set them on sale!

I immediately apologised to the sellers and removed the silmilar looking paintings from all of my platforms and my blog!
It may took to 24 hours until they finally gone.

These paintings weren`t a template for my art!!!

I haven`t earn any money on them and I don`t want any cent when I would hurt any other artist.

Because I know how hard it is to to live just from selling art!

You have to have the dedication and the strength to live an artist life.

The painting from my cute little cat should be copied as well, and that is really sad that you think I am a thief!

All of you have the right to be mad and the right of your own opinion, but

as I sad, I am sorry and I removed these similar looking paintings and destroyed them!
And I will check the remaining paintings if there are any other similarities to any other paintings.

Secret crafts...

Hello Lovelies, I think after nearly two years of blogging

you know a lot about me.

I am a passionate artist, a on a budget decorator who loves a good deal!

And a rally crafty DIY making girl;)

But this secret I am offering to you today,

you see the first time;)

I am a grown woman who loves to sew dolls!

Yes!

I don`t know if you know Tilda,

it is a doll from sweden and her inventor is Tone Finnanger

and the www is full of her.

My passion to sew started really early,

back in design school and I do it from time to time,

a dress, pillows and curtains.

But to sew dolls gave me comfort and relaxation;)

I have all of her books...

I think there are more really talented ladys or guys

who have really good skills in hand sewing out there

but I do love my little creations even when they are not so perfect.

I sew really many and gave them away to my little cousins.

And daughters of friends...

After that confession,

Ich weiß nicht ob ihr euch noch an diesen Post hier erinnert.

Da habe ich jedenfalls meine Inspiration zu einem Bild vorgestellt.

Es ist wirklich erstaunlich das es ein ganzes Jahr gedauert hat,

bis ich es zu ende gemalt habe!

Es sieht so aus, dass ich immer irgendwelche

unfertigen Projekte brauche, zu denen ich jederzeit zurückkehren kann.

Habt ihr auch solche Projekte?

Geht es euch auch so, oder bin ich hier ein Sonderfall?;)

DIY vs. Pottery Barn or the ABC sign.

Hello Lovelies, while I`m feeling better-

I will show you some creative stuff today, as I promised...

Okay let`s start,

I think you saw the Pottery Barn signs I mean,

thought by making them myself.

I had this canvas with the "This is your life" text.

Thought why not change them into an ABC sign?

I think it fits better.

Hmm, an empty frame looks interesting too;)

So I had this canvas...

Painted them a light brown,

than measured the canvas and divide it into small squares.

Than took an ordinary glass and encircle it.

With some darker paint filled the circles and printed

the ABC in a nice font.

Traced them onto the canvas

and filled the letters with white paint,

aded some shadows and some white half circles, and TADAAA...

Ready to hang;)

How you like em?

I think it looks pretty good on this wall;)

Today I wanna tell you a story bout the painting from last night...

My grandma was a deeply religious woman,

she always told me do be kind, honest,

lovely and generous.

I try my whole life to be that kind of person,

most of the time it works...

If don`t I always remember this story here she told me.

You have to know that my grandma
was from Ukraine and I don`t know this story

exists in english but I found a pretty good copy in german.

If you`re interested, just google it...

It called "The little goldfish" and was printed in Russia in the 1860.

But first here is the finished painting.

Hallo ihr Lieben!

Heute will ich euch mal die Geschichte erzählen, die mich zu meinem

Bild von gestern inspiriert hat.

Meine Großmutter war ein sehr religiöser Mensch gewesen.

Sie brachte mir wie es schien die richtigen Werte bei, wie Ehrlichkeit,
Liebenswürdigkeit, Großzügigkeit...

Seit jeher versuche ich dieser Mensch zu sein,
die meiste Zeit funktioniert das auch ganz gut.
Und wenn nicht, denke ich immer an die Geschichte die sie mir erzählt hat.
Meine Großmutter kam aus der Ukraine
und kannte ne tonne Russischer und Ukrainischer Märchen.
Ich habe das gute Stück in einer ganz guten deutschen Übersetzung gefunden.
Es heisst "Der kleine goldene Fisch" und wurde in den 1860er Jahren in Russland verfasst.

Ich habe eine ziemlich gute Kopie in deutsch gefunden.
Wenn ihr mögt, könnt ihr sie am Ende vom Post durchlesen.

Aber zuerst ist hier das fertige Bild.

If someone of you know this story,

I thought about a more modern interpretation of it.

This is the fisherman`s wife

and everything is left for her,

is the inked goldfish on her left shoulder.

This painting should remind not to be selfish

and all the things you read about above...

Wenn jemand die Geschichte vom Goldfisch kennen sollte,

ich habe versucht es ein wenig moderner zu interpretieren.

Und zwar stellt das Bild die Fischersfrau da.

Alles was ihr geblieben ist, ist das Goldfisch Tattoo auf ihrer linken Schulter.

Das Bild soll daran erinnern weder selbstsüchtig noch gierig zu sein,

sondern all das zu sein worüber ihr oben schon gelesen habt.

A crutch and some pom-poms!

Hello Lovelies,

this is one of my favorite accessoires these days.

NO I haven`t done something stupid and broke my leg,

I practically have done NOTHING to get this injury!

I have a tendonitis in my left foot!

And can`t walk without pain;( and have to take a lot of painkillers!

This Christmas present sucks a lot!

Have any one of you ever had a tendonitis?

So all I wish for Christmas is to walk without pain and get well soon!

Because all I`m doing right now

is sitting in front of my computer and read blogs,

or magazines, or books!

Can`t do so much creative stuff where walking in involved!

Thank`s to my kind hubby, I have everything I need to get better!

He climbs the highest ladders and get me everything I want;)

Like some tissue paper to make some pretty pom-poms.

He brought me enough paper to make eight big white and two small silver grey pom-poms.

I thought bout hanging them in our bedroom over the bed.

I thought about it, my hubby did the killer part and hang them!;)

And that`s how it looks all ready under the roof;)

I think I should add some more of the silver ones.

The nightstands and bedroom reveal part one...

Hello Lovelies,

today I wanna show you how the bedroom reno goes on.

It looks a lot more like a bedroom than before,

but not quite ready yet.

The reading nook isn`t complete,

so I will show you today my revamped nightstands and the

one side of my bedroom that is ready now;)

I started with this one here...

from dark brown roof and dirty walls to a bright airy, white and light grey room.

This room was our former living/working/eating space.

It was really full of junk!!!

But were not here for that today,

I wanted to show how I revamped my nightstands.

I had some IKEA MALM nightstands.

(not so fancy, huh?)

Which ones would never fit in this room again.

So I brought from an another trip to IKEA

these knobs,

and this great lamp, two of them...

That is something I could work with:)

Took the paint out, some white for the front and some Driftwood Milk Paint

for the side and the top of them.

(Kinda obsessed with Driftwood right now;))

After one coat of Driftwood paint

and here they are after 4 coats of paint.

After few coats I sealed it with semigloss laquer

and screwed the knobs to the drawers.

Ant that`s it,

drumroll please.....

This is mine

and that`s the hubby`s.

And this the finished side;)

This cute white wardrobe I found on a flea market for only

20 bugs, it hasn`t looked like this past then,

it was a tacky, stained and peeling off red paint.

Hallo Ihr Lieben, ich denke vielen ist die Überschrift ein Begriff.

Wem nicht, einfach weiterlesen.

Jedes Jahr veranstaltet die Kirche meiner Freundin diese

Aktion, es werden Schuhkartons gesammelt mit bestimmten Inhalt.

Ist von Kirche zu Kirche unterschiedlich.

Auf jeden Fall ist das ZIel so viele Kinderherzen

wie möglich an Weihnachten Glücklich zu machen.

Sei es nun mit was süßem oder mit einem Stofftier.

Und dieses Jahr bin ich auch wieder mit dabei.

Hier kann man sich aussuchen ob man ein Mädchen oder einen Jungen beschenken will

und das muss sichtbar gekennzeichnet sein.

Natürlich gibt es kein Limit für die Päckchen Abgabe...

So viel man mag.

Entweder die Päckchen werden hier in unserem Land verteilt

oder es geht nach Russland die Ukraine usw.

Einfach bei der nächsten Sammelstelle erkundigen.

Man kann sogar dabei helfen.

Also ist in dieser Tüte hier nicht mein Wocheneinkauf

wie man vielleicht vermuten könnte;))

Alles verstaut...

... und hübsch verpackt!

Dann noch selbst gemachte Geschenkanhänger drauf und ab geht die Post!!!

Dieses Papier sieht total nach Zuckerstangen aus;)

In diesem Sinne fröhliches einpacken und verschenken;)

DIY vs. Etsy!!! Or for the LOVE of Gold...

Hello Lovelies, today I thought writing a post about the Love of GOLD;)

I do love this metal, the most jewelry I wear is gold,

love accents on pillows, furniture or in this case on a tray...

I saw this one here, and wanted it so badly, but it is sold out!;(

Than I thought, yay let`s do this on my own...

And this DIY vs. Etsy post was born...

(wait a minute... isn`t Etsy all about DIY?)

Okay a DIY vs. a DIY!;))

I had this beautiful tray,

which I made from an old frame,

I love it but now it had to be GOLD;)

Fist I painted it creamy white again,

than used crepe tabe to create a pattern

and painted everything gold!

And here it is my new, old tray;))

And with some styling...

Isn`t this the prettiest thing that you ever seen?!;))

Sideboard re-revamp;)

Hello Lovelies, as I promised here it is my old sideboard,

which looked like this here before,

during it looked like this.

But this grey paint doesn`t suit so well with the new wall color in my living room.

Because at the moment I`m so into driftwood, (driftwood painted tables, here & here)

This one has to be driftwood too;)

So I grabbed my Milk Paint leftovers from these projects and did it again.

This one looks more old and stained than the tables.

But I like it a lot!

Just take a look.

I think I need to hang a big piece of art above it.

Looks so blank.

After looking at these pretty rainbow pictures

I decided to paint an old classic color wheel.

You have to do this over and over again at art and design school.

Definitely our class had to...;)

Love these vibrant colors...

It was a good practice after all;)

Hello Lovelies,

today I want to show you what I`ve done with this old

and tacky painting I found at my parents attic.

As you can see, there were some kind of wood appliqués, which I removed

to get an even surface.

Than got a creamy white and applied it on this old wood painting.

After that I began to draw a big jellyfish.

And line by line...

...I endet up with this.

I`m pretty happy how it turned out;)

I think I place this one right next to that guy here...

And here is a sneak peak of an other piece...

Hello Lovelies, last time I shared some pics of my

rebuilding area, it looked like this.

Now I put some decoration on it and a great mirror

I found on a flea market trip, painted them white, and got this.

And from a trip to IKEA I got this cute shoe cabinet and rug.

Now I have to put something on these bare walls!

Too much bricks, don`t get me wrong, I like em, but I think

this wall need a gallery!

You see?

But here it is, my flea market finds and some IKEA frames.

Just played around with shapes and

arrangement.

This scull is made of plaster, it isn`t a real one...(just before you ask)

What do you think any suggestions?

I think everyone of you saw this one here.

I wanted one of these so bad for a looong time

and thought why don`t make them on my own...

So got a canvas and some sharpies and get started.

Now I do have one;)

Just have to redo some parts, but for now I`m good with it.

And you can see here my little safari animals, they got framed;)

How`s your weekend looks like?

Hello Lovelies,

what have you`ve been up to these three days of the weekend?

Here are my DIY projects;)

At first I painted my dresser for the living room, again;)

This poor thing have seen many many coats of different paint lately.

But I had this driftwood Milk Paint leftovers

from these projects that I had to use for it;)

And this is how it looks like, not really finished.

I will show you the before and the after pics later this week.

Than a little cute gold safari...

For a very special and cute project coming up this week.

And last but not least. This unfinished painting,

I started an underwater series, with many jelly fishes and whales and

octopuses <-- is this even a word?;)

Stay tuned fot that.

It is a lot of fun!

And many of these items are of course for sale;)

It would be a busy and fun week!

So my Luvs, I`m off to get in my pajamas ;)

I recognized, that this year besides my wreath

nothing is looking like Halloween around here!

Time to change this;)

Here in Germany this holiday isn`t so popular but I like em anyways.

The costumes and the partys.

Like this a lot!

I thought of a more subtile decoration, with some candles, wreaths and

of course paintings and prints!

Immediately thought bout The Raven.

I think everyone of you does no the poem of Edgar Allan Poe -The Raven.

It is one of my favorites.

Hello Lovelies,

lets welcome the fall with a quick and cute little wreath;)

Okay are you with me?

Lets start!

I picked my favorite color of all times, yellow;)

What you need is a styrofoam wreath and some sheets of felt.

Just cut out a leaf form and use your glue gun,

add a nice ribbon on it and ready is your Fall Wreath;)

After a few minutes it is ready;))

And that`s it a quick and pretty wreath;)

This has nothing to do with the blog`s topic, but so cute;)

I do love Boston & French Terriers!

So fun and curious dogs, but two years ago
we decided to have two cute little kitty`s.

Sadly no room for dogs around here;)

This one I can hang on the wall without being afraid to antagonize my cats;)

I searched the web to find something cute with cats,

but everything I found was this here.

Not so cute and pretty lite the one with Boogie but

sums it up pretty well.

If anyone find something cute, please let me know;)

And now you can read this Kitty`s language,

what coud this tell us?!

Could it be something like this?

"Hey, you!

Get off with your stupid camera and let me sleep!"

"Did you see this? Come on and build me an other sofa which fits my needs!!!"

BOTH!?

I think my cute little kitty ins`t so little anymore and need a bigger bed!

PS; It is not the only sleeping place they have

but they love it and every time I put it away they want it back.

two days ago my hubby turned 29 like I am a week earlier,

we didn`t have a huge party,

just the two of us, but I made him this cake;)

A tripple chocolate strawberry bomb;))

He said, he is too old for birthday candles, who can ever be too old for that?

My weekend trip to Cologne part III...

Hello Lovelies;)

Today I will show you the final part of our trip.

Okay, lets start this;)

This is the great Cologne Cathedral,
in my opinion the most amazing building in this city.

Could stay for hours in there,

if you ever do a trip to Cologne you have to visit it,

and don`t forget to go to the Cathedral Treasury!

So many amazing, valuable and old things there!

Sadly we were not allowed to take some pics ;(

Here we have the inside of the cathedral...

...with some praying people lighting the candles.

Love these windows!

There is some renovating to do...

And that`s me in front of the cathedral, looking a little odd;)

After that experience we visited the Triangle Tower

to get a better view of Cologne.

And here is the view...

After all the sightseeing we had some treats;)

And this is it!

Hello Lovelies,

as promised I will show you the second part of my weekend trip;)

It was the last summer weekend and

the first day of autumn but dosen`t felt that way at all.

It was a pretty, nice warm summer day when we did our sight seeing.

And again a very photo heavy post;)

Here you can see the Chocolat Museum,

where you can merry too, a very special location;)

And this couple did it right the way...

Here you can see the history of advertise and packaging.

Any kind of box and pretty glossy and sparkly paper you can imagine;)

Look at this here, chocolate heaven;)

Honestly I really thought about to lay down at the end of this

production line, open my mouth and just hmmmmm, yummi....;P

And of course I got my white chocolate, strawberry cake;)

Best thing EVER;))

Now take a look at the FLORA, the botanical garden in Cologne.

Fond this Giant Tree...

and this fountain;)

Some pretty buildings, flowers and some secret trails...

...and you`ve got the perfect hideaway;)

Hello Lovelies;)

How`s your weekend looked like?

It was a really nice one for me,

just got home and uploaded some pics from my trip to this amazing city;)
Love the architecture, the food and the sightseeing...

This would be a very photo heavy post;))

Okay here we have the lobby of this amazing hotel we stayed.

Can you see the pretty chandelier?

So many lights, so amazing;)

Look at these great, sparkly candle holders!

Like disco balls;))

Lets take a look at our room...

It was a cute and cozy one with green accents.

Here we have the bathroom.

And here hubby found the tv...

... and me a pretty mirror:)

It was the perfect size to hang above my fire place, just the wrong color;)

But sadly it has to stay in this hotel room...:(

It was a great weekend anyways...
