A new/ old sideboard for my mom`s living room!

Hello Lovelies,
today I wanted to share with you a
revamped sideboard I did for my mom`s living room.

If you follow me on Instagram, you`ve already seen the transformation.

From this worn out and overused but still beautiful piece,
to a modern, dark grey sideboard.
Like always, sanded the piece of furniture,
covered the holes and painted the whole thing in a nice dark grey!
Love the color lately! ;)

Here is the before of the living room.
Nice but not so suitable pieces.
My mom wanted a more "country house" look.

Here some knobs we bought from IKEA.

We added two more pieces to the sideboard, sadly I haven`t made a before photo or them.
But one of them had these pretty old ceramic knobs, which we tried to match.
We came pretty close.

But after we added them to the furniture.
It doesn`t felt right! If you looked too long on them your eyes started to wander across the furniture and you were kind of buzzed, if this makes sense;)
So we painted the knobs of the sideboard a rich black and all of a sudden everything was all right.

Here is the after.

What do you think?
My mommy is in love with how it looks and that is what matters to me ;)
Here is the before and after for you to compare.

Love to hear from you;)

DIY Driftwood sculpture!

Hello Lovelies,
I wanted to share with you my new DIY driftwood sculpture.

What I used were four driftwood pieces, a slice of a log and some hot glue.
And after 15 minutes it was done.
Simple and easy project which is looking pretty good on the coffee table;)

So take your pieces of wood and place them how you like them and than glue them down
on the piece of the log.

Like this.
And than enjoy your new piece.

So what do you think?
Pretty easy, right?

The Patio reveal!!!

Hello Lovelies, here we go!
My patio/sunroom is officially finished!
We are done and I am happy to share it with you!
Are you ready?
Wanna see the before compilation?
I think I`ll save it till the end of this post;)

I warn you, this will be a photo heavy post!;)

Okay, here we go...

I`ve chosen many greens and soft grey with beige, glass and of course gold,
since I love it so much.
Some blues and linen mixed with sisal and some twinkle lights;)

See the little photo bomber under the chair?;)

Have you spotted the cat toilet?
Right behind the dark blue striped blanket underneath the scratch pole.
My furry babies are happy to use it, some privacy for them.

And here is the other side.

And here is the new cat door...
great right?

And look, who is totally not using it XD

Yeah just some times...:)
Are you ready to see the space with some twinkle lights at the evening?

And we are finished...
This was it. Oh how many work that was.
And here are the before photos.

the floor before the paint.

If you like to see the whole process, you can do this in these posts.

Patio renovation! Or how to bring home, some beachy feeling...:) Part 5! - round table edition;)

Hello Lovelies, here we go, as I promised
I am showing you today the finished table.
My dad and I made from an old cable drum!
Like this one right here.

We mounted a bigger round wooden plate on top of the drum and sanded it,

until it was smooth and ready for paint.
And we screwed some rolls underneath. For better movement.

At first I thought about leaving it like this,
but I decided to cover the bottom with some grey paint, we used on the stone tiles.

Like this, here is the paint still wet. but you get the idea;)

Now are you ready?
Here is the finished table, with a little sneak peek of the finished patio;)

So what do you think?
A quick and easy side table, made from reclaimed old stuff!
Love to hear from you! ;)
