Guest post by Arcadian Home!!!
I'm so excited to be here with you at Pudel Design with a guest post from Arcadian Home.
It's a wonderful place to find lots of interior design inspiration including great decorating ideas for everything from fabulous folding screens to colorful rugs for the floor and much more.
While exploring Lydia's lovely blog, I discovered an intriguing piece she called "The Necklace." I immediately began to wonder about the woman wearing the necklace and where she might live.
The result of that fascination with the lady and the necklace is this post. Today, we're going to take a visual tour of rooms that I think just might suit the lady in "The Necklace" painting.
Which one of these lovely spaces touched by colors from the artwork, do you think she would choose as her favorite?
Please enjoy! Thanks for letting me stop by to share. ~ Mari
A pristine white shaggy pouf and chrome tub chair in blush velvet are what first caught my eye in this elegant space. Metal sea urchins fill the charcoal wall behind the console.
Contemporary white gourd buffet lamps bring pops of deep yellow to the space.
This beautiful understated living room is filled with browns and yellow seen in
"The Necklace." The textures and patterns are marvelous here.
From browns to blues, this eclectic living space reminds me of "The Necklace." Contemporary artwork brings a splash of that wonderful sunny yellow to the dark wall.
This lovely bedroom retreat shows off many of the colors in "The Necklace."
Our lady might choose to substitute touches of blue for the red ones used in the space.
A blue gray and golden yellow abstract painting and contemporary sculpture look wonderful in this grand and classic space. We think our lady would approve.
Going an entirely different direction, this corner showcases a beautiful Harlequin wallpaper, but we think it seems so perfect for our lady.
What a great contemporary living room vignette. The yellow velvet tub chairs are simply irresistible. Right now, we're seeing more and more of contemporary floor lamps like this one in pure white.
Lastly, wouldn't this bedroom be perfect for our lady with the charming necklace?
The colors and subject matter of the artwork is so appropriate for her we think.
More yellow touches are seen in the room and on the deck outside.
