How`s your Sunday looks like?
Hello Lovelies, oh boy I had a really busy weekend;)
At first I mounted these planks to the wall, we`ve got from our
old container as our family emigrated to Germany.
I thought it would be a nice memory for all of us.
Than I was helping my Dad to install the new light fixture,
a sort of strip light for the stairs.
Bought a new rug;)
Painted the trim.
That always get`s kinda messy...
Started to paint a new piece of art for a client.
And now I`m off to enjoy the evening with some good magazine reads;)
So how`s your weekend looks like;)

My own painted DIY "driftwood" table N°2!
Hello Lovelies, today I wanna show you
the second painted driftwood table I did for my living room.
I used the same technique like in this post here.
But this time I was wearing gloves;)
Okay, here we go now...
From this IKEA table, to a beachy beauty;)
Here it is after a few coats of paint.
And here I gave em the finishing touch,
the last coat of clear acrylic paint.
That`s how it looks completely finished.
Look who`s hiding right under the table;)
My cat was sleeping there all the time.
And now, drumroll please;)

My own painted DIY "driftwood" table!
After I saw these pretty side tables,dining tables and coffee tables,
I decided that I need one too;)
And it would fits perfectly in my new airy space!
For this DIY driftwood painted table I`ve got this tones of Milkpaint.
I saw this paint the first time at Miss Mustard Seed.
Good for me this paint is available in Germany too.
Pretty easy to use and as I think the results are fantastic!
I bought along time ago this little side table and coffee table
from IKEA.

Nice color, but not "drifted" enough for me;)
Here it is after sanding
and after the first coat of the darker paint.
I sandet it during the each coat.
Next to the table you can see the lighter paint.
I didn`t use so much water for the darker paint and used
it like chalk to get the dark spots on the wood.
As you can see it here.
And that`s how your hands look like if you don`t wear gloves:)
NICE;))
Okay, here we go, that`s how it looks completely dried.
I really like how it turned out!
